About Paula
I am an experienced counsellor & psychotherapist, accredited with the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP).
I started counselling in the UK in 1995, working with traumatised victims of crime. I have a BSc (Hons) Degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy. I have a Diploma in Trauma Informed Psychotherapy and an Advanced Certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
Like everyone, I have experienced a lot of life’s ups and downs and know the importance of reaching out, being able to talk without fear of judgment and the value in being able to offer that to others.
I work in a straightforward manner using an integrative approach to meet your needs. I have worked with a broad range of issues with clients over the years, especially in the area of anxiety, stress, trauma, loss, depression, relationship and family issues.
I am a competent, warm human being who will offer a safe, non-judgmental environment where you will feel listened to with compassion and understanding, no matter what issue you are struggling with.
